[:es][vc_row 0=»»][vc_column 0=»»][vc_column_text 0=»»]Ángela Díaz-Bastien, socia y abogada del despacho Ernesto Díaz-Bastien & Asociados, tuvo el honor de asistir como ponente a la cumbre SIPS – Sustainable Industrial Processing Summit & Exhibition que tuvo lugar en Paphos, Chipre, en Octubre de 2019.

Como es habitual, en esta edición del gran simposio SIPS se trataron los tres pilares de la sustentabilidad: Ciencia, Tecnología e Industria, Gobernanza y Gestión y, por último, Educación y Sociedad Civil. En el área de Gobernanza y Gestión, pues, Ángela Díaz-Bastien presentó su trabajo bajo el título «Inteligencia Artificial y el futuro de la profesión jurídica», en el que expuso su punto de vista sobre cómo la tecnología está afectando, y afectará, el mundo jurídico y de los Derechos Fundamentales.

Junto a Díaz-Bastien, participaron en SIPS 2019 un total de más de 150 ponentes internacionales, entre los que destacan seis profesores galardonados con premios Nobel en diferentes áreas de Ciencias.

As usual, in this edition of the great SIPS symposium the three pillars of sustainability were discussed: Science, Technology and Industry, Governance and Management and, finally, Education and Civil Society. In the area of ​​Governance and Management, Angela Díaz-Bastien presented her work under the title «Artificial Intelligence and the future of the legal profession», in which she presented her point of view on how technology is affecting, and will affect, the legal world and Fundamental Rights.

Along with Díaz-Bastien, a total of more than 150 international speakers participated in SIPS 2019, including six Nobel Prize-winning professors in different areas of Science.
