Gabriela Ballesteros Joins Díaz-Bastien & Asociados as Senior Associate

Gabriela Ballesteros Huidobro, born in Valladolid in 1978, has joined the team at Díaz-Bastien & Asociados, the boutique law firm led by Ernesto Díaz-Bastien. A graduate in Law from the University of Valladolid and holding a Master’s degree in International Law, Ballesteros will bring her expertise in Procedural Law to the firm. Her career includes extensive experience in arbitration, competition, and commercial law, as well as in the economic oversight of legal processes. This experience was enhanced by her previous collaboration at Díaz-Bastien & Truan Abogados and her role as a solicitor in Valladolid, where she led a team of four and managed over 300 procedures a year. Her time in Brussels, working as a Legal Project Assistant on ‘Antitrust civil claims’ for S.A. Schindler N.V., has been decisive for her incorporation, highlighting her proficiency in English and French.
